What to pack for a holiday in the Bay of Kotor

The Bay of Kotor is warm in summer, but the surroundings are hilly and partly rocky. Beyond the usual essentials (sunscreen, hat, light clothes), we recommend comfortable walking shoes, water shoes for pebble beaches, and a light layer for cooler evenings.

For day trips to Kotor, comfortable sneakers are useful. For boat trips, bring a light jacket and sunscreen. If you plan to cook, the apartments come with a fully equipped kitchen — no need to bring basics, you can buy everything locally.

Most importantly: pack a slow rhythm. The Bay is best enjoyed without rush.
